Blah

I just finished picking up a few groceries at Shoppers Drug Mart. I haven't had time to get to a grocery store, and I literally have nothing in my cupboards. I was in dire need.

I can't believe how chaotic this CreComm life is; my apartment is in shambles, my laundry is piling up faster than I can do it, I've gained about a trillion pounds, and I forget what it's like to have a life away from homework, and projects, and nervous breakdowns and tears.

I am once again overwhelmed.

My mom told me that school is a weeding out process, and I agree with her whole heartedly. It's tough, I knew it would be. But, I never believed people when they told me it was going to be this tough.

I feel as though I am always complaining on my blog (Hence, one reason I don't blog much anymore...) I also don't really have a lot of time to do anything other than my assignments, and work.

I've got one more month to go, and then I am headed to a student position at MLC for the summer! (Before that though, a trip to Vancity to visit lil' sis!)

I am so tired.

  1. Shelley,
    Do not despair!
We accept only the smartest and hardiest applicants into CreComm, the ones we expect to survive and prosper.
    You are one of them.
March and April of first year can be tough months in the program. It's all those assignments, especially the group work where you cannot choose your partners.
This is one of those times where a person just needs to get up every day and keep on keepin' on. We all experience this -- instructors, too.
Reflect on everything you have already achieved and the friends you have made. There will be more of both.
And you will do just fine.
